We were recently asked to fit some plantation shutters for a bay window in a living room located in Brockley, South London. The client was looking to regulate the natural light that comes in through this window while also maintaining privacy when needed from the street outside.
One of our Fitting technicians installed some of our bespoke shutters to the window area, using a Tier on Tier style which is perfect for the customer. Allowing the most flexible adjustment of light over each panel, with the ability to open and close the top and bottom sections independently, great for maintaining the privacy they need at just the lower level.
The client was keen to have a window solution that would not only fit the window exactly, but blend in with the living room décor and look of the house both from inside and outside of the property! The middle panels of the shutters are Bi-Folding allowing the customer to easily pull the shutters to the side without taking up much room.
We created the shutters from out Antiqua Range with 64mm louvres, hidden tilt rod system and finished in a lovely pure white with matching hinges!
