We recently carried out an installation in multiple areas of home in Bexley, London. One of our shutter experts discussed all the options with the client and came up with a plan for the installation in each room. The client chose to have tier on tier shutters throughout, which happen to be one of our most popular styles. Traditional to look at yet highly flexible, the tier on tier style can work on most windows and allows for the ultimate flexibility when it comes to lighting and privacy.
The shutters were created using MDF, also known as the Antigua range. This is more cost effective for the client while still achieving the same look as our hardwood shutters. In each room the shutters maintain the same look, with 76mm louvres, beaded stiles and silent tilt rods (Allowing the shutters to be adjusted by touch, without visible rods).
We finished the shutters in pure white with matching hinges. Our client was thrilled with the end result which transformed multiple rooms throughout the property. With this combination of looks and style we helped achieve a mix of traditional and modern which the client wanted.
