We are often asked to help commercial businesses with shutter installation and recently we found ourselves designing and fitting shutters for an office reception in St James Square in South West London. The reception and office building looked very impressive and we looked forward to adding out bespoke shutters to the street level window!
With the office reception located on the street level of a busy road, we were required to install shutters that would block out the busy traffic and passers-by from the view of those inside the reception, but also allow for natural light to enter and fill the room. Using tier on tier shutters we can achieve this perfectly as the top and bottom sections can be closed, opened and adjusted independently.
We used shutters from our Cuba Range for these shutters which have 89mm louvres and a hidden tilt rod system which helps create a minimalistic look and allows for easy adjustment without a rod. Using pure white paint and matching white hinges allowed for a seamless integration with the existing décor.
