We were in South London to create and fit some shutters to a bathroom and shower room in a home in Peckham. The customer was looking to achieve privacy while also having great light flow throughout the areas. Our shutters are the perfect solution for the job!
We used café style shutters for this installation which has the bottom of the window covered with shutters and the top half fully open to light. This allowed for the right amount of adjustable privacy while still allowing maximum light flow through the top.
The shutters were made using MDF and fitted to the window recess using 3 sided insert L frames. They feature central tilt rods for easy adjustment of the 76mm louvres creating a traditional look which suits both areas. The shutters were finished in pure white with the hinges in the same colour.
