A customer came to us looking for some shutters to be created and fitted to her property in Dulwich, located in South London. The home had a mixture of standard size windows and bay windows which out shutters were to be installed to. We designed all shutters in full height with mid rails which matched with the lines of the windows behind.
The mid rails allow the shutters to be adjusted top and bottom while also providing strength and extra styling with the window lines. A great method for adjusting light and privacy at different levels of the shutters and the mid rail can be added at any point of the shutters.
These shutters were created from our Antigua range which is MDF. The louvres are 63mm which is a standard size of thickness for this type of shutters, also featuring a hidden tilt rod system allowing for adjustment without the need for tilt rods. The shutters are finished in a lovely pure white paint which looks stunning in this home!
