A new client approached us from the area of Worcester Park in South London. They were looking to have new shutters fitted to a room in their house which featured a 5 section bay window. The client had concerns about matching a window dressing with the Georgian lead windows but with our bespoke design we simply created the shutters thicker louvres to achieve the best look against the leaded windows behind.
By taking measurements before designing we were able to create these highly accurate made to measure shutters for this exact window, working with the individual contours and angles. Our shutters make for the perfect fitment every time, not only looking the part against all windows but operating in the correct way for the customers.
These shutters were created in full height with some mid rails built in towards the top. This allows the bottom and tops to be adjusted separately and was another way of perfectly matching the shutters to the window lines behind.
We used offset tilt rods along each row of shutters for easy adjustment of the louvres while also adding a stylish finishing touch to the shutters. They were painted in pure white with antique brass hinges on each panel.
