We recently visited a customer in Blackheath, South East London to install some of the shutters we had created for one of their bedrooms. The shutters were to be fitted to the window on the side of the room which was the main source of light and privacy. The client wanted to take advantage of the lighting and privacy advantages of our shutters, as well as improving the overall look of the room by using shutters.
We used 3 panels of window shutters made using MDF which are all opened and closed on hinges. They can be adjusted using the 64mm louvres and a hidden tilt rod system, allowing for adjustment with no visible tilt rods. The look of the shutters has helped add to the modern look and feel of the existing décor.
These shutters are the perfect solution for bedrooms, using perfect design and fitment to stop light from entering the room when fully closed and also helping to act as an insulation barrier between the room and window on cold nights.
The shutters were finished in pure white with matching white hinges which looks great with the room and wardrobe colour.
