Although we predominantly design and install shutters for windows and doors, there are a range of areas around the house that our shutters can be fitted. This includes cupboards and walk in closets. We carried this installation out in the London area of Sutton for a client looking to replace their standard cupboard doors with a stylish shutter solution which brings an amazing new look to the area!
We carried out accurate measurements before custom designing the shutters to fit perfectly in place of a traditional cupboard door. They were made in a full height style with mid rails to split the height midway adding extra strength and creating the desired look on the louvres. The two shutter panels fold on hinges in the middle and again on the left hand side to fold neatly out the way allowing access to the wardrobe behind.
Using Fiji Hardwood to create these shutters which is great for strength, they turned out great blending in nicely with the homes décor and looking like they should always have been there! The colour used was a Sea mist paint featuring nickel hinges in the middle and on the side.
