A client asked us if we could design and install shutters for the doors and also windows of two ground floor rooms of the property. The main shutters were to be installed in front of backdoors which provided access to the garden.
To achieve this we installed some Bi Fold Shutters across the doors which allow the shutters to fold along a rail giving full access when needed. The shutters can be fully adjusted when closed and provide full privacy when needed.
The door and window shutters were both created using Coralwood which is very durable and rigid but also cost effective. Using a rigid material allows us to create longer runs of shutters for installations such as this.
All the shutters are full height with mid rails for extra strength and separate adjustment above and below. They have 89mm louvres and a silent tilt rod system so that they can be adjusted with no visible tilt rod. The finish was completed in silk white which works amazingly with the décor both in natural light and under the spot lights.
