We were in the area of West Norwood in South East London to help a new client with the design and installation of shutters for their home. The customer was looking for shutters that would help with privacy as they were located on a busy road with regular cars and people passing by the front of the property. They were also looking for the best window solution available both in looks and functionality which they would be able to fully control light throughout the year.
We created the shutters using a mid rail which allows for the customer to full adjust the bottom section while keeping the louvres on the top section opened or adjusted which allows for great levels of light to enter the room while maintaining privacy throughout most of the day.
All shutters were created using MDF, using full height panels with mid rails. The client wished to have these shutters installed on multiple windows in different rooms of the properties. Because out shutters are created bespoke to order and can be matched, we are able to keep the same look and feel throughout the home even if you have different sized windows or openings.
The shutters were all finished in pure white with the same colour hinges which looks great in all the rooms of the home. The client wished to create a minimalistic look so opted for hidden tilt rods which means that the shutter louvres can be adjusted without the need for a visible rod down each panel.
