Not only do we fit our shutters to homes throughout London, but we often find ourselves being asked to fit shutters to unique properties and locations, such as this house boat in Chelsea Harbour! This was a great job for our team to undertake and really helps show the many places our bespoke shutters can be installed.
The shutters create great privacy for all those on board the boat and add a modern and trendy appearance that the standard nets and curtains just can’t match. The shutters can be seen not only from those inside the boat, but are a great feature that can be seen by those outside.
We installed shutters down all windows down the sides of the boat complete with centred tilt rods and hinges for ease of adjustment and opening whenever required. They were made up using 47mm louvres which adjust however needed for a multitude of light levels and privacy.
The shutters were then finished in pure white paint with matching hinges which work perfectly with the boats interior and exterior. I think you will agree that these shutters really look the part on this house boat!
