A customer from New Eltham in South East London approached us looking for shutters and blinds to be installed in multiple rooms of their property. We were on hand to help provide the best solution for each area while making sure that all shutters and blinds would be finished in the same style throughout the home.
We worked with the client and took on board their own taste and preferences before working out what type of window dressing would be installed in each room. The customer was looking to have shutters and blinds fitted to 2 kitchen windows, 2 bedrooms and a door area.
The decision was made to fit shutters on 4 of the areas, with waterproof venetian blinds fitted to 1 of the areas located above the kitchen sink. Because all our shutters are custom made to order we were able to match the look and finish of them all including the blinds.
The customer was particularly interested in the hygiene advantages that out shutters and blinds bring as standard. These are wipe clean making them easy to remove dust and dirt whenever required. We used shutters with invisible splits on the windows with the door using a mid rail for strength, allowing the customer to have great flexibility of light and privacy at all times.
Most of the shutters were created from our Antigua range, with the door shutters created from the Cuba Range to make them lighter weight and easier to move back and forth. All the shutters use 64mm louvres and centralised tilt rods to create the desired look for the client. All window dressings were finished in a creamy colour with pearl coloured hinges on the shutters.
