These bespoke plantation shutters were created for an arched shape window in the living room of this clients home in Barnes, London. With this style of window it is so impossible for people to find the right kind of dressing, with blinds and curtains just unable to come anywhere near the contours of the window and need to sit in front, completely hiding the shape of the window.
Our made to measure shutters were created to fit perfectly within the recess of the windows and were created to match the customers exacting speficiations. We used lovely white teak wood to make the shutters and finished them in silk white to match the customers interior of the rooms. They feature a hidden tilt rod system for that modern look the client had previously discussed with us.
A mid rail section was placed before the arch which allows the top and bottoms to be adjusted and opened separately. Although the top section is within an arch the shutters still function and adjust as they would on square windows. Using a hidden tilt rod system allows for adjustment of the louvres simply through touch!
