We were asked by a client in Peckham if we could create and install some shutters for a curved window as they were having trouble finding a window dressing which would fit. With any nonstandard window it can be difficult to find a window dressing which will work well with the exact shape. Our bespoke shutters are the best method of dressing the window as we design and build them to the exact specifications and sizing of the window area.
We can create shutters in a huge selection of special shapes and unlimited sizes to suit all windows and openings no matter what shape. By taking exact measurements we can create highly accurate shutters that work with the contours and window shape allowing for no light bleed around the edges.
These shutters were created using full height style featuring a sunburst style of shutters at the top which are installed seamlessly into the opening. Using this method we created a stunning solution which works as normal shutters would, while fitting and looking correct.
Using wood from our Fiji Range these shutters were made using 64mm louvres and a hidden tilt rod system which allows for a more minimalistic look while still allowing for the customer to quickly and easily adjust the slats. Both the bottom and top section were styled and finished to match with silk white paint and matching hinges.
