We were recently in the area of Herne Hill in South East London to install some of our custom made shutters to a clients property. The customer required shutters which would give off a more stylish and chic look over the standard window dressings. We were on hand to carry out accurate measurements so that we could design and fit new shutters perfectly to all 3 windows in the same finish and style.
We used Tier on Tier Shutters for all the windows with two of them fitted with two panels and the other window having a run of four. This style of shutters allows the customer to operate the shutters in the most versatile way we can provide, with panels that open and close on the top and bottom as well as separate louver adjustment throughout all panels. We used the same sizing of top and bottom sections with the split in the centre of the shutters, although some customers prefer to have the divide nearer the top!
The shutters were created from out Cuba Range which is a rigid and durable hardwood solution. We used 64mm louvres throughout all shutters with centralised tilt rods for adjusting the louvres, which also helps with the overall look. They were then finished in matching Silk White with White hinges fitting in with the clients décor perfectly.
