We were recently in the London area of Hampstead to install these impressive tier on tier shutters to a clients living room bay window. The client was looking for shutters to add the finishing touches to their living room and was so impressed with our install that they have now been featured in a home magazine!
The shutters work very well with a bay window, allowing for maximum adjustment top and bottom as well as fully functioning opening and closing of all tiers. They provide the best flexibility of lighting and privacy at any time day or night.
The bay window is home to some traditional sash windows, with our shutter install creating a traditional look with modern touches, perfect for the window and interior design. Our customer asked for 76mm louvres with centralised tilt rods which work wonders with thinner panels such as these. In total there are 8 panels running along the top tier and 8 along the bottom.
We finished the shutters in a lovely silk white which contrasts against the dark walls making them a great feature of the room for the homeowners and guests to enjoy all year round in both style and functionality!
