These shutters were required for a balcony of a property in Crystal Palace which would cover a wide window and door area. Our shutters would help create the ultimate style, lighting and privacy into this living room area, especially as the building directly faces another building so some privacy is also key throughout the day.
We used a full height style track system with mid rail, which will allow the customer to adjust the top and bottom sections separately for those times in the day when a mixture of light and privacy is needed. The run of shutters covers the whole window and door area with 6 panels in total which can easily be slid out the way to the sides for full access to the balcony behind.
The shutters were created for hardwood from our Fiji Range which is great for shutters of this size as it is a very rigid hardwood, yet still light enough for the client to pull back the shutters whenever they require.
They were finished in a lovely silk white with matching white hinges which creates a great look in this room with the existing wall colour and décor within the room. The customer was delighted with the versatility of their new shutters and the way they looked compared to drab curtains!
